Valentine’s Day Inspired Nails

Valentine’s Day is literally tomorrow, and I know many people will be spending quality time with their significant other. I on the other hand, will be working *by choice *, and so will my honey. I wanted to give you dolls a Valentine’s Day inspired nail look.

I love to change up my nails for special occasions, and these colors will definitely be on my nails. I used OPI’s Pepe’s Purple Passion, and OPI’s Divine Swine from the Muppet collection. Both nail lacquers are great, when applied alone, but applying both just make your nails POP even more. I just hope my nails don’t chip, when I bake cookies & cupcakes for my co-workers tomorrow morning. Later dolls!

What nail lacquer will you be wearing on Valentine’s Day?

OPI Nicki Minaj Collection Review

Hey Dolls! Where did the weekend go?!? I guess I slept right through it. I can’t begin to tell you dolls, how much I harassed the employees at my local Ulta, about the Nicki Minaj OPI collection. This dates back to the first week of January. I called them inquiring about the collection, and when exactly should they receive it. They continued to give me the same answer, of not knowing the date. I gave my information to contact me, once the collection came in. Four weeks later, I get a call about the collection’s arrival. So, what do I do? I wait 2 days later, because I totally forgot about it *Grrrrr *. Once I got to the store, I only had the option of the OPI minis *sigh * .You know I was mad at myself. But, I ‘d rather have something, rather than nothing. I will say, I have similar colors to the collection, to an extent. For example, the polish, “Did it on ‘Em” reminds me of,“Who the Shrek are You”, from the Shrek collection. My favorite color from this collection is “Fly”. I’m happy with the collection, but I wish there were more colors.

Different looks

-Did it on ‘Em: Lime green
-Fly: A deep aqua
-Pink Friday: Bubblegum pink
-Metallic 4 Life: A charcoal color w/ tons of glitter

What do you think?

Nail Polish: Ulta’s Snow White

Finally! Friday is here, and I’m so ready to get the weekend started. If you follow me on Twitter, I recently tweeted about a HUGE nail polish sale at Ulta. Brands like: Piggy, OPI, Butter, China Glaze, Essie, and etc were on sale between $2-$4. Amazing right?!?! I racked up on so many that I may need to invest in a nail rack. This week I wore Ulta’s Snow white on my nails. This is the only white nail polish I own, and my first Ulta brand nail polish. The consistency of the nail polish is goopy, and thick. I applied 2 coats, and finished it off with a clear coat. Within a day, my polish managed to crack and chip at once. Boo!!!!!! I like the color, but I can’t say I’ll be buying another nail polish from the Ulta collection. Before this post uploads, this nail polish will vanish from my nails :-/

Have you tried the Ulta brand nail polishes?

Nail Polish: Sally Hansen’s Lite

I feel like I can NEVER have enough nail polishes, and I’m always on the hunt to add to my collection. I purchased this nail color from my local Target. Sally Hansen has been around for many years, and they released a new High Definition collection a few months ago.  Despite, the numerous nail polishes I own, I don’t own any yellow polishes. So, I felt the need to get this one. I really like the color, and the finish. Two coats were applied.  I didn’t even need a topcoat, because the finish of the nail polish appeared shiny. I didn’t experience any chipping, until the second week. Lets just say, I’ll be adding more colors from this collection.

What yellow nail polishes do you own?
